One great advantage with a push back system is that Operators never have to enter the rack unlike a drive in racking system. The push back rack system offers you more storage than a drive in rack systems by front rack loading. When a skid or pallet is loaded from the front of the racking system it pushes the pallet or skid behind it back one position. It utilizes the Last In First Out or LIFO Inventory management system.
When the first skid or pallet is removed, gravity enables the pallet behind it to move forward one position.
